USA was home for a while when I spent a few gorgeous years studying and working as a Graduate Research Assistant at Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC, Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I graduated with a Masters in 2017. Yay!
Although my initial plan was to join academia and research cross-cultural marketing strategies, I decided to skip that and experience cultures myself and write about them.
Southern USA was a treasure trove of history and culture for me.
South’s complicated history of the Atlantic Slave Trade, the evolution of a unique Gullah Geechee culture, the beauty of antebellum homes and Spanish moss, and the deliciousness of Lowcountry cuisine captivated me.
Therefore, you will only find Southern USA travel guides on my blog because I am in love with it.
