Kreuzenstein Castle
Located just north of Vienna, the Kreuzenstein Castle is straight out of a fairytale.
Kreuzenstein Castle was first constructed on the remains of a medieval palace. It was then destroyed in the Thirty Years’ War and was rebuilt in the 19th century. What’s interesting is that the final version of the castle incorporated elements purchased from other castles, making it a bit of a hodgepodge yet quite stunning.
You can tour the armory featuring one of the largest weapon collections, opulently furnished state rooms, a chapel and the kitchen.

Schloss Eggenberg
Located in Graz, Schloss Eggenberg, also known as the Eggenberg Palace, is one of the most iconic and popular Baroque residences in Austria.
Schloss Eggenberg, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a 17th-century palace known for its exceptional symbolism. You will see elements here symbolising astronomy, numbers, mythology, and imperial power.
